Hey folks!
Nina is back! :P Well, I have actually never been away (except from being away in Canada :P), but you haven't heard from me in...let's say a little while.
But at least I've got more things to tell you now!
Let's start on last weekend (the days before was work - such a surprise ;) ). On Friday, the other intern (Menno) asked me for my plans for the weekend. To be honest: I had non at all. But well, Menno had. He was going to the Vancouver Giants game that evening! And as the Vancouver Giants just play like...almost infront of my house (5min walk), I decided to come with him and two other guys in his house spontaneousely (ugh I guess, I have written this word..not right :P)! And: It was the right decision! Okay, the Vancouver Giants lost against Victoria 4:2, but it was a fun game anyways :) I really like watching icehockey, it's a lot of fun (as soon as you see the puck :) ). And it was also really interesting as there were cheerleaders, a funny Subway game...:) Just a great experience. Although I prefer watching icehockey in Germany. Well. The games of the Roten Teufel Bad Nauheim ;) Don't know any others in Germany yet...
Here some impressions of the game:
To continue with the next day, Saturday, I have to tell you something about the tickets of the Giants game: With those tickets, you can go the following day after 2pm to Playland, the amusement park right next to the stadium. And Menno give me his, so I had two. Actually, for Saturday I had planned to just stay at home and chill, BUT in the morning I realised, I had that ticket! I asked my hostsister Julianna to come with me and she did :) We went there and had fun riding the rollercoaster and other great things. Although I got a little bit dizzy....;)
In the evening, we had a great dessert called "s'more". Cookie, marsmallow and peanut butter. Take a look at it. It's awesome!
And after that, we started to watch a trilogy called "Anne Of Green Gables" which is a really awesome movie. You should definitely look it up and watch it!
And on Sunday we watched the second part of it and that's almost everything I did on Sunday. ;) Oh wait. And I made another cover (Snuff by Slipknot):

Yeah. And the next day was Monday. And right now I don't know if there was something special. I don't think so. But I forgot sth. about Sunday: My hostmum baked really yummy meringues:
Sorry about all the food! ;)
But yesterday (Tuesday) there was something NOT about food :P But about music! :) There's a Jazz student in my house called Robyn and she has rented a room here as well. And she took part in a concert called "Kickin' The Mix". So I went there. Simple as that. And it was just a really great evening! :) Awesome!
A lot of different music :) I didn't take a lot of photos (but recorded almost every band :) ), but here is a photo of the stage to see how great the atmosphere was in that bar:
I'll tell you when I upload videos :)
Yeah. Great night! To say it again! Although it started like one hour later than planned ;)
And today, it was a great day :) I shooted another clip for Language Barrier with Menno. I'll give you the link, as soon as we have uploaded it!
Today, I also did the camera for a shoot and it was a lot of fun. Hope I didn't mess up the footage though hahah :D
Okay folks. I am done now. For now.
You can look forward to a next post for sure! :)))
Bis bald,
Nina! :)
