It's me - again! ;) Yes, it's only been 4 days since my last post, BUT I had a quite a great weekend and therefor some new things to tell and photos to show!
First of all, I wanted to show you the video of the Alcest mini acoustic session that I recorded and now uploaded :)
And another video that I'd like to share with you is the new AhornTV episode with Uwe Boll ! :) Do you remember me talking about that interview during my first week of my internship? :)
So. That were the new videos that I wanted to show to you! (Btw I am in the video for "camera", yay :) )
But now, let's talk about....my weekend! ;)
Well, I know that Friday does not really count as the weekend yet, but I will make it part of the weekend right now just to tell you something about it! On Friday, I wanted to go to the film "Camille Claudel, 1915" at the VIFF after work BUT (here comes the big BUT ;) ) the theatre was already full. Yay. So I had to go home. But apparently I went to a wrong busstop. Which means I waited for a bus that would start to come ome hour later. Before that time: No bus! So I waited for one hour and was told about that by then. Oh well. But now it would come (in 20min). The problem was: The next bus didn't show up! And the one after (which was supposed to come half an hour later) was in 15 min delay. Oh well. But I finally got home. After two hours of waiting. WORST BUS EXPERIENCE EVER!!!
The next day turned out way better :)
During daytime I met up with a friend of mine and we went to English Bay. It was good to be at the sea! :) Haven't really been there yet...definitely need to go there more often! :)
In the evening, I went to my old hostfamily to celebrate the twins' birthday! :) It was fun! Good food, nice people! ;) As always!
So that was pretty good. And today was a fun day as well! :)
It was such beautiful weather in Vancouver! :)
But actually, I spent most of the times in theatres, watching movies. I saw three films at the Vancouver International Film Festival! :) The first one was "Time goes by like a roaring lion" (German), the second one was called "The congress" and the last one was called "Le Week-End".
They were all nice films, but I want to point out the last one which was really good! It's about an english couple who travel to Paris for the weekend. Here's the trailer:
You can check out the other trailers on your own, if you are interested! ;)
I watched the last film with Sharleen btw! :) We also spent a nice time afterwards :)
As it was a great day with awesome weather today, I'd also like to share some photos with you!
I actually have more photos, but takes so long to update them! But I guess, that's a good overview :)
Bis zum nächsten Mal,
Nina :)
